Ruin Quest is an adventure game. Create a hero to explore the mysterious ruins. They'll embark on quests, kill monsters, find loot, and level up! Or they'll become yet another hapless victim of the perils there. The ruins are a dangerous place!

The game is presently pre-pre Alpha and is undergoing rapid development. There are a lot of rough edges and incomplete features. If you ever return to the game and find your heroes are all missing, there was probably a database reset. On the plus side, this means there are probably new features to explore.
Ruin Quest relies on relatively new web technologies, like websockets. As a result, you'll need a pretty recent browser to play.
The bleeding-edge development server is playable here. (this server will reset MUCH more frequently.)
If you don't know what you're doing, it is strongly recommended that you begin play with a Human hero.
